Language Arts	Free Rice - Build your vocabulary skills and give food to the poor!
	Spelling City - Type your own list in (or sign in with your teacher's information) and practice and play games! Turn on your sound!
	Figurative Language Jeopardy - Skip the last column, but practice similies, metaphors, and personification.
	Vocabulary Lessons - Practice prefixes, suffixes, and root words.
	Analogies Jeopardy Game - Play this with a partner to practice analogies. Analogies Quiz - Type in your answer for 34 different analogies.

	Harcourt Reading Series Online Activities - You must have the password to enter the "Program Users" section, but it is worth it! Parents, you will need to get the password from your child's teacher. LOADS of cool activities.

Math	Math Playground - A huge site with lots of interactive math activities.
	Coordinate Planes - Several links to practice working with ordered pairs, including all four quadrants. Billy Bug - Arrow to the correct coordinate. Fun! Maze Game - Type in the coordinates for the path to the green dot, without running into a mine.

	Periodic Table of the Elements Interactives Periodic Table - Gives basic information about each element, as well various groupings of the elements (orbitals, melting points, boiling points, etc.) Element Games - Super cool games to practice the names and symbols of the elements. Chemical Elements - Information about each element. Click on the element to find basic facts, and a great picture of the element's energy levels. Web Elements - Information about each element. 	Planet Exploration From Mercury to Pluto - Another great Thinkquest site. Choose the down arrow next to "Make a Selection" in both boxes. Has a good links page. Social Studies	Ancient Civilizations - A hotlist of links for many of the ancient civilizations.
	Mesopotamia from the British Museum - Try the interactive activities and read the stories. Ancient Mesopotamia - A site from MrDonn.org. Very easy to read information, with cartoon clipart. Click Ancient Civilizations to find more.
	Ben's Guide to U.S. Government - Super site that covers our nation, historical documents, government, how laws are made, election process, and citizenship. Information and games.
	Ancient China - A site from the British Museum that has simple information about Ancient China.
	MapZone - Super site for finding maps of all kinds.
	Roman Emperors PBS The Roman Empire Illustrated History of the Roman Empire
	Egypt Ancient Egypt - A site from the British Museum. Each section has an interactive story, and activity to try. Hieroglyphic Writing - This is a simple site for explaining how to write and read hieroglyphics. Just for fun, click on this French site to see your name written in hieroglypics. Ancient Egyptian Culture Exhibit - This is a site from the Minnesota State Univeristy museum. Very well organized and covers a variety of Ancient Egypt topics. Guardian's Egypt - A site with many links to study pyramids, mummies, hieroglyphs and other aspects of ancient Egypt.
	National Geographic - Official site for National Geographic. Click on the Student and/or Kids section for great tools for students.
	Time for Kids - Extension on the news magazine. Great up-to-date news that is easy to understand.
